Bordered on both sides by Lake Témiscamingue and Lake Kipawa, Opémican National Park aims to protect a sample of the Southern Laurentian natural region. Covering an area of 252.5 square kilometers, the park is divided into three distinct sectors: the Rivière-Kipawa sector, the Pointe-Opémican sector, and the Lac-Marsac sector.
